Bike For Egg Egg Sizes and Pet Weights: What Egg Size Tells You

A big fused egg hatches a giant-size pet, while a rare small one hatches a low-earning mini. What egg size and weight mean in Bike For Egg, and how the Fuse Lab gives you a heavy egg.

The Fuse Lab is how you get a big egg on purpose in Bike For Egg: submit three similar pets and it hands back a single egg of the same species at a higher weight. Size matters once that egg hatches — a big fused egg hatches an animal of giant size, while the rare small fused egg hatches a mini creature with a low earning rate. Here's what an egg's size and weight tell you about the pet inside, and how to make the Fuse Lab produce a heavy one.

What an egg's size tells you

Size is a trait the game wants you to chase: the official How to Play list puts sizes right alongside rarer eggs, pets, and mutations as things to discover.

The clearest size signal you can act on is on eggs from the Fuse Lab:

  • Big fused egg → giant pet. This is the normal result. The lab outputs a heavy, higher-weight egg of the submitted species, and a big one hatches an animal of giant size.
  • Small fused egg → mini pet. This only happens on some rare occasions. A small fused egg hatches a mini creature with a low earning rate, so if you were after a giant, it's worth running another fusion.

How to get a big egg from the Fuse Lab

  1. Get three similar pets. Animals of any rarity are accepted, from Common through Epic and beyond. If your collection is thin, hatching eggs is the usual way to fill it.
  2. Submit all three at the Fuse Lab.
  3. Pay the Money cost to turn the lab on. In a worked example, fusing three Chickens cost 1000 Money — treat that as a reference point, since the price can differ between uses.
  4. Wait 60 seconds, then claim the egg yourself. It belongs to the same species as the pets you submitted, and it only joins your collection once you claim it.

Keep a few things in mind before you fuse:

  • Submitted pets are gone for good. Everything you put into the lab is deleted permanently, so don't fuse a pet you'd miss.
  • Mutations carry over. You can deposit mutated pets, and the best mutation among your three submissions transfers to the resulting egg.
  • The lab runs day and night, but every use costs Money. If your balance is thin, see how to make money first.

That deletion rule is also what makes the lab a tidy mid-game loop: instead of selling duplicate Common-to-Epic pets for small cash, run them through the Fuse Lab. Money keeps flowing in from your active pets at the base anyway, and three duplicates are exactly what a fusion needs. For the structure's location and a full walkthrough, see the Fuse Lab guide.
