Bike For Egg Treadmill Training: How to Gain More Speed
Train on the treadmill near your base to raise Speed in Bike For Egg, and equip a Bike and Trail so their stacked multipliers boost every session's gains.
Training on the treadmill near your base is how you raise Speed in Bike For Egg, and how much Speed each session pays depends on your Speed multiplier: equip a Bike and a Trail, and their multipliers stack so every session earns you more.
How to train on the treadmill
The treadmill stands near your base. Use it to train and your Speed stat climbs. The game's official How to Play list treats it as a core routine: "Train on the treadmill to gain Speed."
Speed feeds straight into progression. As it rises, you can reach distant zones quickly on your bicycle, so time on the treadmill opens up more of the map for stealing and hatching eggs.

What makes training give more Speed
Two equipped items raise the Speed stats you earn while training:
| Equipped item | Effect on treadmill training |
|---|---|
| Bike | Raises your Speed multiplier, directly increasing the Speed earned on the treadmill. Each Bike has its own multiplier — Standard x1, Football x1.5, Frozen Flame x9 Speed. |
| Trail | Adds a cosmetic trail behind your bicycle and raises the Speed multiplier as well, enhancing your treadmill gains. The Trail's multiplier stacks with the Bike's. |
Both items come from the shops inside the Safe Zone. The Standard Bike is unlocked for free after you purchase the first upgrade for your base — see how to get your first bike — while the other rides cost Money or Robux. Swapping to a higher-multiplier Bike, for example from the x1 Standard to the x9 Frozen Flame, increases what every session pays, and the Trail you pair with it stacks on top of that. The full numbers are in our bikes list and trails list.
The recording above is a full training run: it shows the treadmill upgrades and Bike/Trail swaps raising the Speed paid out per session, from the first 1k climb to the millions required by later zones.
Funding the multipliers
Better Bikes and Trails are bought with Money, the currency your pets generate while they are kept in your base. Growing your pet collection is what pays for the multipliers that boost your training — our pet income and how to make money guides cover that loop.
Finally, the official How to Play list pairs treadmill training with one more instruction: upgrade your treadmill and base as you progress. The treadmill track is covered in our treadmill upgrades guide.
