Bike For Egg Pet Income: How Pets Earn Money and How to Compare Rates

Pets you've hatched in Bike For Egg earn Money every second while active in your base. Here's how pet income works and how to check each pet's per-second rate.

Pets in Bike For Egg pay you just for keeping them. Once an egg hatches, the pet inside starts generating Money every second while it's active in your base — no further action needed. The catch is that pets differ wildly in what they earn, so it pays to know each one's rate. Here's how pet income works and how to check it.

How pets generate Money

Earning money from your pets is the step that follows hatching in Bike For Egg's core loop: steal an egg, hatch it to collect the pet, and the pet then farms Money every second it spends in your base. You don't need to send it anywhere or complete an activity — the cash ticks up on its own while you're off stealing the next egg or training Speed.

Because active pets pay out continuously, selling one gets you only a small one-time amount. That's why keeping duplicates of Common, Uncommon, Rare and Epic pets is usually smarter than selling them: each copy keeps earning in your base, and spare copies can be put into the Fuse Lab to make a new egg instead — the Fuse Lab guide walks through how that works.

How to see what each pet earns

Equip a pet and Bike For Egg displays its earning rate in coins per second. To compare your pets, equip them one at a time and note each number.

For a sense of the spread, these rates were shown during one recorded play session (exact values vary per pet and can change with game updates):

PetEarning rate shown
Puppy (a first hatch)2 coins/sec
Camel248 coins/sec
Trollelo Trollchina517 coins/sec
Giant Trollelo Trollchina6,100 coins/sec
Spider12,500 coins/sec
Royal Crystal Spines1 million coins/sec
Saturn cow2.3 million coins/sec
Eternal dragon135 million coins/sec
Mosasaurus154 million coins/sec
Phoenix1.6 billion coins/sec

The camel shows why checking matters: that freshly hatched camel farmed just 248 coins per second, so a new hatch isn't automatically an upgrade. Always look at the rate the game displays before deciding which pets keep their slots.

How to raise your pet income

  • Keep more pets active. Your base holds a limited number of pets, so upgrading your base adds slots and raises total income because more pets can be active and earning at once — one session paid 50 million Money for an extra slot for exactly that reason.
  • Hatch stronger pets. The session rates above span 2 coins/sec to 1.6 billion coins/sec, so replacing weak earners with rarer hatches from later zones can raise your per-pet rates enormously. Start with the how to hatch eggs guide and the pets list.
  • Expect little from small Fuse Lab eggs. Fuse Lab eggs are generally big, but on rare occasions a small one hatches a mini creature with a low earning rate. If a fused egg comes out unusually small, don't count on it to lift your income.

What pet income is for

Money is Bike For Egg's chief currency: it buys Bikes and Trails with better Speed multipliers, treadmill upgrades, and more base slots. Pet income is one source of it — Money packs from the Shop are a separate, non-pet source.
